SANTOSHA SEVA Initiative

Yoga in action. Love in service.

Seva is the Sanskrit word for selfless service — the practice of offering our time, energy, resources, and care without expectation of something in return.

At Santosha, we believe yoga doesn't end when we roll up our mats. Santosha Seva is how we carry our practice beyond the studio and into our community.

Rooted in love. Rising in soul. Together.

SEVA: OUR PRACTICE BEYOND THE MAT

Seva is more than giving — it is the practice of showing up.

Through the Santosha Seva Initiative, we partner with organizations serving our local community and look for meaningful ways our collective can support the work they're already doing.

That may mean volunteering our time, collecting needed items, raising funds, sharing resources, or simply helping bring greater awareness to an organization and its mission.

Each partnership may look a little different. The intention remains the same: to take the values we practice within these walls — compassion, connection, presence, and love — and carry them with us into the world.

Practice with us. Serve with us. Grow with us.

Brunswick Family Assistance

About BFA

Brunswick Family Assistance is a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing hardship throughout Brunswick County.

Through food assistance, emergency resources, and community programs, they help our neighbors access essential support during difficult times.

Why We're Showing Up

We believe yoga is more than what happens on our mats. It's how we show up for one another. Partnering with Brunswick Family Assistance

gives us an opportunity to put compassion into action and support the community we call home.

Our Collective in Action

On October 1, five Santosha volunteers helped pack five pallets of food and supplies for local families. Together, our community also contributed

approximately $360 in donations and 90 pounds of goods. And we're just getting started.

Join Us

Whether you have a few hours to volunteer, items to contribute, or resources to share, there's a place for you in this work.

Our Seva opportunities are open to everyone, not just Santosha members. Join us as we continue to serve our community, one act of kindness at a time.

SUPPORT SANTOSHA SEVA

Can't join us in person? There are still ways to support the work.

Contributions to Santosha Seva help us respond to the needs of our current community partner and support service projects organized through the collective.

Every offering — whether it's your time, your resources, your voice, or a financial contribution — is another way we practice Seva together.

SERVE WITH US

Seva belongs to all of us.

You don't have to be a Santosha member to take part — just someone willing to show up, lend a hand, and lead with love.

Follow along with our current Seva partnership above, or join us when our next opportunity to serve is announced.

Come as you are. Give what you can. Support your community.
